One pope is down and another one is missing in action

Aba Gebremedhin is finally gone. Now he is where he belongs… in hell and burning in the lake of fire.

Let us see what God says about judging false teachers and their collaborators.
“And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Revelation 20:10
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” Mathew 7:15
“An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? It seems that judgement day is in full swing over Ethiopia these days. God is once again showing us He is patient but not absent. He is now swinging His sword of judgement on false teachers and their collaborators in a powerful way.
It is time God defends Himself if not us. After bulldozing and burning the Waldba monasteries and the remains of those saints buried there, God will have no excuse not to act. He has to demonstrate that God is God and man is man. He has to demonstrate in a very powerful and convincing way who the creator and the created is. He won’t let Aba Gebremedhin and dictator Zenawi invade divine territory and get away with it. No, He won’t. Their sin and blasphemy have exceeded God’s mercy and patience.
Hence, God has to sniff both of them out of existence and bring them to Him for judgement. It is not a coincidence but God’s order for both dictator Zenawi and Aba Paulos to face judgement all at the same time. God will not tolerate for so long when a religious cadre infiltrates the Ethiopian Orthodox Church soiling and defiling His Churches. The almighty can’t ignore when two politicians, one wearing a religious robe and another holding the sword of atheism, are turning the churches into MMMs-money making machines.
Since we are also sinners, God may not be hearing our prayers. Dictator Zenawi and his gangs have committed so many crimes on our people for so long. But God decided to act now precisely to defend his churhces and not to defend us. If He acted to defend us, he would have destroyed Zenawi and his terrorist gangs a long time ago. What is happening to Aba Paulos and dictator Zenawi is a testimony that God is still around and He will come to our rescue if we get our acts together. And start living according to His will by cleaning up our behavior. Then, and only then, God will come to our defense. So, repent and pray so that God who defends his territory and monasteries will also defend us and our people.
