 በሙሉነህ ዮሃንስና የዲፕሎማቲክ ምንጮች የተቀናበረ (August 9, 2012)
 የመለስ ዜናዊ ቤተሰቦች ሃዘን ላይ መቀመጣቸው ታወቀ በፍርሃትና በጭንቀትም ተውጠዋል!
 የአዜብ እና የበረከት ጸብ እየተካረረ ሄዷል!

 ውጭ አገር የተመደቡ አምባሳደሮች በሙሉ ለአስቸኳይ ስብሰባ ወደአዲስ አበባ እንዲመለሱ ታዘዙ! አምባሳደር ብርሃነ ገብረክርስቶስ ወደ ውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር እስካሁን አልተመለሰም! የመለስ ዜናዊ ቤተሰቦች ሃዘን ላይ መቀመጣቸው ታወቀ በፍርሃትና በጭንቀትም ተውጠዋል! ከህዝብና ከሚዲያ ከተሰወረ 45 ቀናት ያሳለፈው የመለስ ዜናዊ መኖርና አለመኖር አሁንም በሰፊው አወዛጋቢ እንደሆነ ቢቀጥልም ከወደ ቤተመንግስት ጓዳ ያገኘናቸው የማያወላዱ መረጃዎች ግን የሰውየውን ህልፈት የሚያረጋግጡ ናቸው። ለዋቢነትም የመለስ ዜናዊ ሚስት እናት የሆኑት ቆንጂት ጎላ ጎሹ እና የመለስ እህት የሆነቸው ዘውዲ ዜናዊ እጅግ በከባድ ሃዘን ተውጠው መሰንበታቸውና ውስጥ ውስጡንም ቅርብ የሆኗቸው ሰዎች እያስተዛዘኗቸው መሆኑ ተረጋግጧል። እነዚሁ ግለሰቦች ስለመለስ ሁኔታ እንዲገለጽላቸው የመንግስት አካላትን ቢጠይቁም አርፋችሁ ተቀመጡ ተብለዋል። መለስንም በስልክም ሆነ በአካል አግኝተው አያውቁም። እኒህ ቤተሰቦች የመለስን በህይወት አለመኖር ተገንዝበው ሌት ተቀን በለቅሶ እያሳለፉ

እንደ መብረቅ ብልጭ ብሎ የሚጠፋው፣ እንደ ጸበል ጻዲቅም በአምስት አመት አንድ ጊዜ የሚታየውና የሚታስበው

የኢትዮጵያና የኢትዮጵያውያን ሞቅታ የሚፈጥረው የሞቅታ ፖለቲካ ከጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ ወቅታዊና አወዛጋቢ ሁኔታዎች በተያያዘ ያለ
አመሉ ባልተጠበቀ ጊዜና ሁኔታ ሲጋጋል እየተስተዋለ ነው። በእርግጥ ክስተቱ (የሰው ልጅ በሥጋ መታመም ሆነ በሞት ከዚህ ዓለም
መለየት) ከልማዳዊ የሰው ልጆች የኑሮ ዘዬ የዘለለ የተለየ ታሪካዊም ሆነ ሥነ ተፈጥሮአዊ አንድምታ የለውም ሊኖረውም አይችልም።
አንድ ሰው ሰው ሆኖ ተወልዶ ለመኖር እስከቻለና እስከበቃ ድረስ ደስታም ሆነ ሐዘን ጤናም ሆነ ሕመም እንዲሁም ብርታትና ድካም
በየጊዜያቸው ማየቱና ማስተናገዱ የማይቀር ነው። በአጭሩ የሰው ልጅ ይወለዳል ይሞታልም።

መካከለኛ ልቦለድ፤ “የአውቶቢሶቹ ወግ”

ዛሬ አርብ ነው። የሙስሊም ወዳጆቻችን ሰላማዊ ተቃውሞ ዛሬም ይቀጥላል ተብሎ ይጠበቃል። ይህ ተቃውሞ “ፍፁም አመፅ አልባ ተቃውሞ” የሚባለውን የነ ማህተመ ጋንዲን ስልት የያዘ ነው። ባለፈው ጊዜም በየመን በተደረገው ተቃውሞ ላይ የሰላማዊ ተቃውሞው አስተባባሪ እንስት በፖሊስ እና በተቋማት ላይ ድንጋይ የሚወረውሩ የተቃውሞው አባላትን የምትቀጣበት የራሷ የሆነ “ፖሊስ” አዘጋጅታ እንደነበር ሲዘገብ ሰምተናል። ይህ ፍፁም ሰላማዊ ተቃውሞ ቢያንስ ቢያንስ ታሪክ በበጎ ሲያነሳው የሚኖር ነውና እጅግ የሚበረታታ ነው። ይቺን ያህል ከተንደረደርኩ፤ ከሶስት ሳምንት በመርካቶ አካባቢ በፊት የሆነውን የሚያስታውስ አጭርም ረጅምም ያልሆነ መካከለኛ ልቦለድ እንደሚከተለው ይቀርባል።

የፌዴራሉ አቃቢ ህግ በፌዴራሉ ከፍተኛ ፍርድ ቤት 16ኛ የወንጀል ችሎት ክስ የመሰረተባቸው በፍትህ ጋዜጣ ዋና አዘጋጅ ተመስገን ደሳለኝ እና በማስተዋል የህትመት እና ማስታወቂያ ስራ ድርጅት ላይ ነው።

አቃቢ ህግ በተመስገን ደሳለኝ ላይ ሶስት ክሶችን የመሰረተ ሲሆን ፥ ክሶቹም 1ኛ ወጣቶች በአገሪቱ መንግስትና ህገ መንግስታዊ ስርአቱ ላይ እንዲያምጹ የመገፋፋትና ግዙፍ ያልሆነ የማሰናዳት ተግባር፣ 2ኛ የሀገሪቱን መንግስት ስም ማጥፋት እና የሀሰት ውንጀላ እንደሁም 3ኛ የሀሰት ወሬዎችን በማውራት ህዝብን በማነሳሳት ወይም አስተሳሰባቸውን ማናወጥ የሚሉ ናቸው።

የቀረበበት የክስ መዝገብ እንደሚያስረዳው በጋዜጣው የነሃሴ 23 ቀን ቅጽ 04 ቁጥር 149 እትም ላይ ሞት የማይፈሩ ወጣቶች በሚል ርዕስ የአጼ ሃይለስላሴን ስርአት ወጣቶች እንዴት እንዳፈረሱት እና አሁን ያለው ስርአትም አፋኝ እና ጨቋኝ መሆኑን በመግለጽና አሁንም ሞት የማይፈሩ ወጣቶች መኖራቸውን ጠቅሶ በአረቡ አለም የተከሰቱ የህዝብ አመጾችን በሀገራችን እንዲተገበር በማሰብ ወጣቶች አደባባይ ለአመጽ እንዲወጡ በጽሁፍ ቀስቅሷል።

For months, Eskinder Nega’s supporters in Washington, New York and around the world have been pleading for his freedom. In petitions, blogs and speeches, they have hailed the prominent Ethio­pian journalist, detained last fall on terrorism charges, as a courageous champion of democratic rights in a country that is systematically snuffing them out.
But the government of Ethi­o­pia — a major recipient of American aid and an important U.S. military ally in a volatile region of Africa — chose to ignore the appeals. In late June, it convicted Nega, 44, of crimes against the state, which included “attempting to incite violence and overthrow the constitutional order.” On July 13, he was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

አቤት ጊዜው እንዴት ይሮጣል ? በጣም ይሮጣል። ስለጊዜው መሮጥ የማወሳው ወደሁዋላ ሰባት አመት ተመልሼ ትውስታዬን የሁዋልዮሽ ሳጠነጥን ነው። አስታውሳለሁ ምርጫ 97/2005 እየተቃረበ ነው ቢያንስ ቢያንስ የስምንት ወር ያህል ጊዜ ይቀረው ነበረ። ከ እለቶች በአንዱ እኔ እና ጉዋደኛዬ መሃል ፒያሳ ከማህሙድ ሙዚቃ ቤት አካባቢ ወደ ቼንትሮ ፓስትሪ ጎራ ብለን ቡና ለመጠጣት እያዘገምን ሳለን…ጉዋቅደኛዬ ባየው ነገር ተገርሞ… “ይሄንን መኪና ትመለከተዋለህ ?…” በማለት ይጠይቀኛል…እኔም መኪናውን ተመልክቼ አዎ አዎ አየሁት አልኩት። በ እርግጥ የተለየ ነገር ለጊዜው ባላስተውልም እሱ ግን ሆን ብሎ የመኪና ሞዴሎችን ማድነቅ ዋጋውን መከታተል ያዘወትር ነበር እና እና ምንድነው ? አልኩት መልሼ ጥያቄውንም በጥያቄ። “ይሄ መኪና ማንም ሃብታም እጅ አልገባም…እርግጥ የ እኛ ሃገር ሃብታሞች አደጉ የሚባሉት ሃገሮች ውስጥ የሚገኙ ሃብታሞች እና የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎች ከሚይዙት መኪና በተጋነነ መልኩ ውድ መኪና በመያዝ ቢታወቁም ይሄ መኪና ግን ለጊዜው ሃገራችን ያለው በአንድ ግለሰብ እጅ ብቻ ነው…” ማን ነው እሱ በማለት ብቻ ጊዜ ሳላጠፋ የመኪናውን አይነት ለማየት መለስ አልኩኝ። መኪናው ክራውን ኮሌጅ ትይዩ ማህሙድ ሙዚቃ ቤት ፊትለፊት ነበረ እና የቆመው በደንብ አየሁት። እውነትም ምን አልባት በፊልም ካልሆነ ያንን አይነት መኪና ከዚያ ቀደም ብዬ እንዳላየሁ አረጋገጥኩ። ጂ.ኤም.ሲ የሚሉ የ እንግሊዘኛ ፊደሎች ከፊትለፊቱ በቀይ ይታዩበታል። ድፍን ያለ ጥቁር መኪና ነው ሁሉ ነገሩ ጥቁር መኪና ሲበዛ የቅንጦት መኪና እንደሆነ አያጠራጥርም። መኪናውን ዙሪያውን በደንብ ካየን በሁዋላ ከጉዋደኛዬ ጋር ሲኒማ አምፒር ፊትለፊት ከሚገኘው ቼንትሮ በረንዳ ላይ አረፍ አልን እና ቡናችንን እንዳዘዝን ጉዋደኛዬን… እና ታዲያ መኪናው የማን ነው ? አልኩት። “የዶክተር ፍሰሃ ነዋ…” ሲለኝ…ዶክተር ፍሰሃ ዩኒቲ ኮሌጅ ? አልኩት መልሼ… “አዎ ልክ ነህ” አለ እና

Breaking News: Major opposition forces in exile made a joint commitment

As we all expected, most of the democratic opposition forces have now come to a common understanding of the need for a coordinated effort to bring democracy and freedom in Ethiopia. Eleven major political and civil organizations have come to an agreement to form a coordinating or an organizing committee to collaborate the Ethiopian democratic opposition forces. The coordinating committee will include members from this eleven organizations so far. It is possible more will come on board in the future as the struggle continues and starts to take shape. It can turn into a front and eventually into a complete union.

Government sources in the secretive African nation say that Meles – who was seen looking frail before his disappearance – is resting but well, but more than one eyebrow has been raised at the reasons for his absence. “The Prime Minister is on vacation recovering from illness,” an Ethiopian government source told the Guardian. “There has been a lot of ill-meant speculation about his health.”

የሲቪል ሰርቪስ ሚኒስትሩ የአቶ ጁነዲን ሳዶ ባለቤት ወ/ሮ ሃቢባ መሐመድ ከሁለት ሣምንት በፊት በፖሊስ ቁጥጥር ሥር የዋሉት ከሽብር ተግባር ጋር በተያያዘ ተጠርጥረው መሆኑን ፖሊስ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ይፋ አደረገ ሲል ዛሬ በአዲስ አበባ ታትሞ የወጣው ሰንደቅ ጋዜጣ ዘገበ።
የፌዴራል ፖሊስ የውጪና ሕዝብ ግንኙነት ጉዳዮች ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር የሆኑት ኮማንደር አበበ ዘሚካኤል ስለጉዳዩ ከሰንደቅ ጋዜጣ ተጠይቀው በሰጡት ቃለ ምልልስ ወ/ሮ ሃቢባ የተያዙት ከተጠረጠሩበት ወንጀል ጋር በተያያዘ ጥብቅ ክትትል ሲደረግባቸው ቆይቶ ከፍ/ቤት በወጣ የመያዣ ትዕዛዝ መሠረት ነው። ፖሊስ ያለማስረጃና ያለበቂ ጥርጣሬ ከመሬት ተነስቶ አንድን ግለሰብ ሊይዝ የሚችልበት ሕጋዊ መሠረትም እንደሌለ አስረድተዋል።
ተጠርጣሪዋ ከተያዙ በኋላ የፌዴራሉ የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ፍ/ቤት አራዳ ምድብ ችሎት ቀርበው ተጨማሪ የምርመራ ቀነ ቀጠሮ ተፈቅዶ በምርመራ ላይ መሆናቸውን ኮማንደር አበበ አስታውሰዋል።
ሚኒስትር ጁነዲን የምርመራ ሂደቱ ሳያልቅ ባለቤታቸው ንፁህ መሆናቸውን መናገራቸው ተገቢ አለመሆኑን ኮማንደሩ ገልፀዋል። ‘‘የአንድ ሰው ነፃ መሆን የሚረጋገጠው በፍርድ ቤት በሚሰጥ ውሳኔ ነው። ፖሊስና የዐቃቤ ሕግ ክስና ማስረጃ ባልተሰማበት ሁኔታ ባለቤቴ ንፁህ ናት ብሎ መናገር ተገቢ አይደለም’’ ብለዋል።

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia — When the summer rains come, as they have in cleansing torrents over recent weeks, the 3 million residents of Ethiopia’s smog-choked capital usually inhale a little more deeply and exhale a little more freely.
But at this moment it seems the entire city is holding its breath. Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, the rebel-turned-technocrat who has led Ethiopia since 1991, is sick. And his long absence from public view has given Ethiopians cause to contemplate what their nation — now enjoying one of the longest sustained periods of economic development in its history — might look like without him.

ምንም እንኳን የባርያ ስርዓትን የምቃወምና የማወግዝ ብሆንም በዚህ ስርዓት ወቅት በነበረው ግንኙነት የተማረረ አንድ ባሪያ ጭቆናው አንገፍግፎት በጌታው ላይ ተነስቶ የመሸፈቱን ወሬ እንደሰማሁት ሌላውም የሰማው ይመስለኛል።
ታዲያ ያ የባርነት ሰንሰለትን ለመበጠስ የሸፈተ ባሪያ ዕድሜ ልኩን ከጌታው ግቢ ወጥቶ ስለማያውቅ፣ለሱ የመጀመሪያም የመጨረሻም የሚያውቀው ዓለም ሌት ተቀን እየኮተኮተና እያጸዳ ሲሰራ የኖረበት ሰፊ ጓሮ ብቻ ነበር።አመጽ ባሰበበትና በሸፈተበትም ወቅት ለመሰወር ፣ምሽግና ከለላ አድርጎ የመረጠው በዛው በጌታው ግቢ ውስጥ ከሚገኘው ቁጥቋጦ ውስጥ ሆነ።ውሎ ሳያድር እርቆ ሳይሄድ ምህረት ጠየቀና መልሶ ከኖረበት ገረገራ ውስጥ ገባ።ሸፍቶ ነጻ ላይወጣ፣ከጌታው ጋር አጉል ቅያሜ ፈጥሮ ሰንሰለቱን አጠበቀ ይባላል።
ይህን ታሪክ ያነሳሁት ላለምንም አይደለም።ባለፈው እሁድ ከቤተክርስቲያን መልስ እቤቴ አረፍ ብዬ በዕለቱ የሚተላለፈውን የአካባቢዬን ራዲዮ የአማርኛ ፕሮግራም ሳዳምጥ ጉዳዩ ተነስቶ የተሰነዘረው ሃሳብና ትችት የግል አስተያየቴን እንድሰጥበት ስለቀሰቀሰኝ ነው።

Many individuals, journalists, politicians, historians, academicians and leaders; from Ethiopia, neighbouring countries and from different corners of the world have written about the Oromo. This includes its history, politics, ability, value and nature. The time, objective, nature and fact differ from person to person. The objective of this brief note is not to give analysis on the subject matter but rather to summarize an hour presentation of one of the most famous and controversial writer on the issue of the Oromo.
Any ordinary Oromo from Ethiopia can without difficulty name two important non Oromo authors from its neighbours, having a positive contribution on the history and visibility of the Oromo nation: Professor Asmerom Legesse and Tesfaye Gebreab. Both are Eritrean by birth, but hardly know the effort of one another until recently. The work of Professor Asmerom started almost half a century ago in the Borana region of Oromiya, while that of Tesfaye started after the fall of the Derg military junta. የኢትዮጵያ ሕዜብ በአሇፉት 21 ዓመታት የወያኔ የግፍና የሕዜብ ንቀት ዗መን ውስጥ፣ አገዚዘ ሙለ በሙለ በሚቆጣጠራቸው ሚዱያዎች ተሽሞንሙነውና በአማሩ ቃሊቶች ተከሽነው እንዯ በረከት የቀረቡሇትን ዓይን ያወጡ ውሸቶች እስኪያንገሸግሸው ዴረስ እንዯሬት እየመረረው በግዴ ሲጋት ቆይቷሌ። አሁን ግን፣ ማርም ሲበዚ ይመራሌ እንዱለ፣ ሕዜቡ እምቢ የጨቋኙ መንግስት ዛና አገሌግቶት ጣቢያዎች የሚያስተሊሌፍቱን ውሸት አንሰማም በቃ! ብሎሌ።

ታሊቁና ብሌሁና ታጋሹ የኢትዮጵያ ሕዜብ ከነፃ ምንጭ ማሇትም እንዯ ኢሳት ሬዴዮና ቲላቪሽን ጣቢያዎች ከመሳሰለትና እንዱሁም ዳሞራሲያዊ ከሆኑ አያላ ዴህረ ገጾች የሚጎርፉሇትን ዛናዎች ከምሥጋና ጋር በጥሞና እያዲመጠ ዲግም የቀጣፊዎች ኢሊማ ሊሇመሆን በመወሰን የሥሌጣን ባሇቤትነቱን ሇማረጋገጥ ስሇሚወስዯው ወሳኝ አይቀሬ እርምጃ እየተመካከረ ነው። አሁንም እንዯምናውቀው፣ሕዜቡ ፍፁም ሰሊማዊ በሆነ መንገዴ ሕገ መንግሥታዊ የመብት ጥያቄዎችንም አንስቶ የሚንቀሳቀስ ስሇመሆኑ፣ የአገዚዘን በሃይማኖት ጉዲይ ውስጥ ጣሌቃ ገብነት በአዯባይ በመቃወሙ ከመካከለ ንፁሏን ዙጎቻችን ሞት፣ እስራት፣ ዴብዯባና ማሰቃየት እየተፈጸመባቸው ከፍተኛ መስዋዕትነት እየከፈለም ነው። ይህ ግፍ ሳይውሌ ሳያዴር ወዳት እንዯሚያመራ የዯዯቢት ዋሻ ምሁራን ቢገነ዗ቡትና እጃቸውን ሇሕዜቡ ቢሰጡ ጥሩ ነው።

የአሜሪካ የውጪ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር  ሄላሪ ክሊንተን በሰሞኑ የአፍሪካ ጉብኝታቸው ፦_“ቻይና የአፍሪቃን ሀብት እየዘረፈች ነው” ማለታቸው፤ ቤጅንግን አስቆጣ።

ሰሞኑን ወደ ሰባት የ አፍሪቃ አገሮች ጉዞ ያደረጉት ሄላሪ ክሊንተን በሴኔጋሉ ጉብኝታቸው ባደረጉት ንግግር  የ አፍሪቃ አገሮች ለዲሞክራሲ እና ለ ዓለማቀፍ የሰብዓዊ መብቶች መረጋገጥ ከመስራት ውጪ አማራጭ እንደሌላቸው  በማሣሰብ፤ሌላ አጋር ፍለጋ  ባልሆነ መንገድ እየሄዱ ያሉት ከዚህ ተጠያቂነትለማምለጥ  እንደሆነ በማብራራት ወቅሰዋል።

ክሊንተን በዚሁ ጉብኝታቸው ቻይና በኢንቨስትመንት ስም   የአፍሪቃን ሀብት በስፋት እየዘረፈች እንደሆነም የሚጠቁም ንግግር አድርገዋል። <ዡንዋ> የተሸኘው የቻይና ዜና አገልግሎት እንደዘገበው፤ሒላሪ ክሊንተን በአፍሪካ  አገሮች እያደረጉ  ባሉት ጉብኝት ቻይናን አስመልክቶ ያደረጉት ንግግር ፤ የቻይና መንግስትን አስቆጥቷል።

ማጭበርበር – የመለስ ዜናዊ የአገዛዝ ብሄል መሠረት

የመለስ ዜናዊ አገዛዝ በማጭበርበር ተወልዶ፤ በማጭበርበር አድጎ፤ እያጭበረበረ ወደ መቃብር በመንጎድ ላይ ይገኛል። የመለስ ዜናዊ አገዛዝ እና ማጭበርበር በጥብቅ የተሳሰሩ ናቸው። መለስ ዜናዊ በእርዳታ ስም አጭበርብሯል፤ በእድገት ስም አጭበርብሯል፤ በፍትህ ስም አጭበርብሯል፤ በዲሞክራሲ ስም አጭበርብሯል። ሌላው ቀርቶ በበሽታና በሞትም እያጭበረበረ ነው።
ማጭበርበር በበረሃ
ትግራይን ነፃ የማውጣት ዓላማ አንግቦ የተነሳው እና በመለስ ዜናዊ ሲመራ የነበረው ሕዝባዊ ወያኔ ሃርነት ትግራይ (ሕወሃት) በበረሃ በነበረት ወቅት ከፍተኛ ማጭበርበሮችን ፈጽሟል። ሕወሃት በረሃ እያለ ጀምሮ አሸዋ የሞሉ ከረጢቶችን እህል ነው እያለ ለእርዳታ ድርጅቶች በመሸጥ የማጭበርበር ልምድ ያካበተ ድርጅት ነው።  በድርቅ ለተጎዳ ሕዝብ የመጣውን እርዳታ በአግባቡ አከፋፍላለሁ እያለ ለእርዳታ ሰጪዎች እየተናገር በተግባር ግን 55 በመቶው ለማሌሊት ማጠናከሪያ፤ 40 በመቶው ለቀይ ሠራዊት፤ እና 5 በመቶው ደግሞ ለተረጂዎቹ ማከፋፈሉ የቀድሞ አባላቱ፤ የብርታኒያ የዜና ወኪል (ቢቢሲ) እና በጉዳዩ ላይ ጥናት ያደረጉ በርካታ ተቋማት ያረጋገጡት ሃቅ ነው። ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ሕወሃት በረሃ ውስጥ እያለ በርካታ የፓለቲካ ማጭበርበሮችን ሲፈጽም የኖረ ድርጅት ነው።

MELES ZENAWI, Ethiopia’s usually dynamic prime minister, has not been seen in public since mid-June. Regularly invited to grand gatherings such as those of the G8 and G20, he has often been deemed “the voice of Africa”. But he was notably absent earlier this month from a summit of the African Union in his own capital, Addis Ababa. His government added to the uncertainty by first denying that he was critically ill in a hospital in Belgium, then announcing that he was away on sick leave. When a weekly newspaper was about to publish an article on his health, the authorities stopped the presses.

Its newfound love with ‘economic transformation’ is noting more than another diversion to legitimize its modern day robbery under institution of larceny it setup to help it. The regime and its partner-in-crime genuinely believe they outsmart everyone in ransacking the nation with impunity. The regime’s apologists are simply bottom feeders enjoying their pretty corruption granted them for their service. Equipped with well orchestrated propaganda they created enough confusion to allow the regime get away with its heist while protect their ill-gotten petty theft as willing participants. In reality, the economy driven by top-down vertically integrated criminal enterprises run by TPLF operatives. Congregated around the usual economic activities with all the ‘legal’ cover they can master the operatives channel illicit goods and launder ill-gotten money at will. The high-level corruption the regime and its partner-in-crime engaged is unheard-of in African dictatorship. The sophisticated network of economic monopoly revile the crime syndicates are in business not to govern but exploit the nation with every conceivable crime of corruption that would earn them hard cash. At the meantime, the TPLF’s front ethnic parties with a label of EPRDF are simply an instrument of TPLF’s corruption; providing cover for its criminal syndicates. These mentally and morally bankrupt individuals handpicked to front for Woyane are willing to sell the people in a hand basket in return for symbolic position in government as puppets of TPLF. They permitted to commit petty corruptions as reward for their services on the people Woyane labelled for them as theirs. What is more interesting is the international community willing ignorance on the corrupt ethnic tyranny they support. In doing so, they willingly finance to expand crimes of corruption by lifting a small-time tyrant as ‘progressive leader’ of their liking. As tragic as it looks, there is no concerted effort to make them accountable for their conspiracy and complicity. Also, seldom the networks of TPLF’s corrupt operatives challenged by the Media, advocacy groups and political parties. The last few years there are encouraging activities by independent Media outlets and freedom advocates extensively engaged putting out the true picture of Woyane and its partner-in-crime. But, organized effort needed to expose and legally challenge the operatives throughout the world. For example, TPLF owned and managed Almida Textile; the # 1 exporter of Textile or garment to US is supported by US Agency for International Development (USAID) VEGA Ethiopia AGOA+ Program Quarterly Performance … – USAID as Private Sector Promotion through the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) that offers private companies duty-free privilege to export to US. In reality, the company neither is private nor legal to be allowed taking advantage of the privilege. In fact, it is one among many that became nuisance on the private sector development by cutting out competitions through subside and favoritism by the ruling regime that won them on the expenses of Ethiopians taxpayers and foreign Aid. So far no investigation launched by US Congressional Committee or advocacy groups. In fact, the company rewarded for its crimes. AGOA’s news reviles the selected few, including Almda Textile Plc. are using the incentive and the technical backing of USAID to export garment in the USA. USAID didn’t make it secret of helping the corrupt ruling party TPLF’ owned companies even thought it is illegal to do business with corrupt official of regimes or companies. According to USAID document ‘Almda Textiles, a member of the Effort Group, and two U.S. companies, Atlas Manufacturing Group and Pinnacle Textiles, signed agreements in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia establishing long-term relationships in the apparel sector’. It went on to say, ‘these commercial agreements are a result of several initiatives undertaken by COMPETE’s East and Central Africa Trade Hub (ECA Hub). COMPETE provided technical assistance to Almeda and sponsored the company to exhibit at the MAGIC Apparel Trade Show in August 2009. The Africa Pavilion at MAGIC, designed and managed by COMPETE, has become the premier platform for African Apparel exporters to access the U.S. market. Sustained ECA Hub support to the Ethiopian Apparel sector under the U.S. African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) initiative dates back to 2003. US tax-payers money wasted to subsidize notorious corrupt TPLF’s companies to profit from illicit trade. Yet, no one challenged the regime or USAID nor took any legal initiatives against the operatives under Foreign Corrupt Act or various laws in the book. The congressional committee on African Affair has not began nor approached to look into these blunt corruptions on the expenses of US taxpayers. The Congressional Budget Office reported in several occasions that USAID spending in Ethiopia isn’t transparent. Yet, for unknown reason no investigation started; most likely because of the lobbying effort of Woyane. For sure, Woyane is rotting in corruption to its cores and ready to self-implode on its own. The overreaching illicit crimes of its operatives posed as Tigrians is a calculate move to isolate and hide behind the people to continue TPLF’s power grab. At the meantime, corrupting as many willing Ethiopians to protect its money grab and economic dominance is part of a typical organized criminal syndicate’s strategy. Patronizing people by ethnicity is also to fend off and divert the opposition in other issue to continue its power and corruption. Therefore, protest against a rotten regime is not enough but, to go after regime’s criminal elements operating around the world. The clandestine operatives aren’t ordinary folks but professional criminals with multiple identities and citizenships. Legal professionals must involve to unravel the criminal syndicates’ activities and to help advocates launch criminal probes against the operatives. Every ‘supporter’ of the regime should understand the criminality of Woyane. They should be warned they could be victims of misinformation that can entangle them in criminal liability. They must demand TPLF return the billions of dollar stolen money and stashed around the world. They should expose the officials and affiliates that amassed so much wealth. Ethiopians must open multiple fronts to bring down the regime and its corrupt affiliated criminal syndicate. The economic front that finances the atrocity of the regime is a key sector that can’t be overlooked for long.

Ethiopian legend Abebe Bikila named in 2012 IAAF Hall of Fame

Ethiopia legend Abebe Bikila has been named in the inaugural International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Hall of Fame announced on the eve of the 14th edition of the IAAF World Indoor Championships, Istanbul 2012 today.
The Late Bikila, who was the 1960, 1964 Olympic marathon champion and once a World record-holder, joined 11 other Athletics greats from all over the world in the inaugural list of 12 achievers announced for 2012.
A total of 24 athletes will become the inaugural Members of the IAAF Hall of Fame in 2012, with the Official Induction Ceremony taking place at the IAAF Centenary Gala in Barcelona on Saturday 24 November 2012.

መቼም እንዳለመታደል ሆኖ ሀገራችንም ሆነች እኛ ህዝቦቿ የምንጠራው በመልካም ኮሆነ ሰነባብቷል። እንዲያውም ብዙ ሰዎች እንደሚናገሩት "የመንታ እናት ተንጋላ ትሙት" እንዲሉ እዚህም እዚያም እያሉ የሀገራችንን በጎ ስም ለማስጠራትና እንዳትዘነጋ ለማድረግ የሚጥሩ ጥቂት ሯጮቻችን ባይኖሩማ ኖሮ ሁሉ ነገር ጨለማ በሆነ ነበር (እነሱም ላይ የሚደርሰው ዘርን መሰረት ያደረገ መድሎ ሳይዘነጋ ማለቴ ነው)። ይደንቃል አንደኛው ሲሰፋ ሌላኛው ስቀድ የሚያድርበት ሀገር። የህዝብን ምኞት "መንግስት" ሲያኮላሽ የሚያነጋበት ምድር። እስኪ በማን ሀገር ነው የሀገር መሪው በምን ሁኔታ ላይ እንዳለ ለድፍን አርባምስት ቀናት በአስተማማኝ፣ በግልጽና በማስረጃ በተደገፈ ምልኩ ለህዝቡ የማይነገረው። ታዲያ እንዲህ ያለው መጥፎ ታሪክ በወያኔዎች ከምትገዛዋ ኢትዮጵያችን በቀር የት ሊገኝ ይችላል? እንዲህ ያለው ድርጊት እንደ ዘረኛው መለስ ዜናዊ ያሉ የአምባገነን አምባገነኖች የሚከውኑት የነሱ ብቸኛ መለያ ባህሪ ይመስለኛል።
እንዲያው ነገር ጠልፎኝ ሰለወያኔ ባህሪ ትንሽ አልኩ እንጂ አነሳሴ እንኳ ስለ በታኙ መለስ ዜናዊና ወያኔ ጭፍን ደጋፊዎች "ጭፍን ጋላቢዎች ማለት ይሻል ይሆናል" ጥቂት ለማለት ነበር። ማነው ስሙ ይኸ አወ "ሰለሞን ቅንድቡ" በሚያስተላልፈው ነፃነት ራዲዮ ፕሮግራም ወይም በሚሚ ስብሃቱ ዛሚ የውሸት ራዲዮ ይመስለኛል፤ ታዋቂው ጋዜጠኛ አበበ ገላው መለስ ዜናዊን ቀልቡን ከገፈፈው በሗላ በየዌብሳይቱ የሚወጣው ያላማራቸው ጭፍን "ጋዜጠኞች" እና ደጋፊዎች በጌታቸው እንትን መፎከር የጀመሩት። "የኛ ጌታ መለስ ዜናዊ ታንክ ተደግፎ መጽሃፍ ሲያነብ የነበር ጀግና እንዴት ለአበበ ገላው ጩኸት ይደነብራል " ይሉናል። ነገሩ ሁሉ እንዳይሆን እንዳይሆን ሆነና ዛሬ አይበሉን እንጅ።

An AWOL “Prime Minister”?

What happens when a “prime minister” goes AWOL? That is, absent without constitutional leave of absence.  Ethiopian Dictator Meles Zenawi has disappeared from public view for several weeks now. He was last seen in public on June 19 at the G20 Summit in Mexico. His disappearing act has provided more grist for speculation and caused pained and grimaced official obfuscation. On July 19, in a rambling, disjointed and incoherent press statement, Zenawi’s spinmesiter and “communication minister”, Bereket Simon, stonewalled any information on Zenawi’s health and whereabouts by offering a cryptic and manifestly dubious explanation on July 19. Simon said Zenawi was receiving medical care for some undisclosed minor health problem at some undisclosed location. The cause of Zenawi’s health problem is alleged to be exhaustion resulting from long public service. Simon’s statement strangely suggested that Zenawi was simultaneously at a medical facility and a Club Med-type vacation spot. Simon assured the public that Zenawi will return to his duties shortly. “Deputy prime minister”
