Mr. Obang Metho vists Norway.

Mr. Obang Metho , who is the executive director of Sorlidarity Movement For a New Ethiopia
had been in Norway for a visit on October 20,2012. Mr Obang was invited by the Ethiopian asyleem seekers association.

Mr. Obangs movement is working solely on humanity regardless of peoples ethnic, religion,colour, gender and social status. With in this frame Ethiopians to reach out to each other in reconcilation,compassion and acceptance so that the new

Ethiopia with justice, freedom and democracy can be achived.

Mr. Obang Metho have been doing a lot in bringing and showing to the world about those peoples pushed out from their land and leaving them with out any compensation,most of the jobs are given with screening their ethnicity rather than their skills,a lot of Ethiopian soldgers are forced to go to Somalia and dieing there, how journalists are suffering in prison and migrating, how citizens are accused of their political view and activities,millions of hectars of land is given to those Chinese and Indian investors. He is always giving his voice to the international community for those voiceless Ethiopians, including those who are suffering from migration. For this reason the Weyane or dictatorial regime established a proclamation on anti-terrorism law i.e PROCLAMATION NO 652/2009, where Ginbot7,OLF and ONLF are the main targets and also those who are journalists,opposition political activists,writers ,bloggers and members of political parties inside and out side of Ethiopia and so on. From this Mr. OBANG METHO was one of the victims of this proclamation that accused of a death-penality for this humaniterian activities.

During his stay in Norway he visited some Norwegian offices like Land-info,where UDI and UNE take a basic input or information for deciding ones asyleem case and he had a good reception from the officials in the land-info office.

He also made a meeting with Ethiopians , Ethiopian-Norwegians and Norwegians. He made a speech for the crowd about the current situation in Ethiopia and how every individual should contribute to his country by organizing and struggling for removing the dictatorial regime in Ethiopia regardeless of ethnic, religion,colour,language and so on.Finally he give time for the attendants to ask questions and he give exellent explanations for the crowd and the meeting was succesfully acomplished.
