የኢህአዴግ ምክርቤት ያለውጤት ተበተነ ፣ስብሰባው ነገም ይቀጥላል

የኢሃዴግ ምክርቤት በዛሬው እለት ባደረገው ስብሰባ ከአራቱ  ድርጅቶች ጋር በመሆን ስብሰባውን ያደረገ ሲሆን  በስብሰባው ላይ የተገኙት  ከደቡብ ህዝቦች (ደህዴግ)  ፣አማራ(ብአዴን) ፣አሮሞ (ኦህዴድ) ትግራይ (ህወሃት)የተውጣጡ የምክር  ቤት አባላት ስብሰባውን የመሩት ሲሆን  ሌሎችም አጋር ድርጅቶች በታዛቢነት ተገኝተዋል ::በስብሰባው መጀመሪያ ላይ በቀድሞው ጠቅላይ ሚንስትር መለስ  ሞትን አስመልክቶ የህሊና ጸሎት በማድረግ ፣የቀድሞውን መሪያቸውን በታሳቢነት ሲያስታውሷቸው እና በጸሎታቸው ፣ሲወድሷቸው እንደነበር ፣የውስጥ ምንጮቻችን ከስፍራው ዘግበዋል።

Siye Abraha’s Seattle Speech Raised a lot of Eyebrows

Ato Siye Abraha’s speech at the recent Seattle meeting has raised a lot of eyebrows in the Ethiopian Diaspora. Most Ethiopians in the Diaspora think that Ato Siye have started sounding more like TPLF where he looks like a hybrid of the opposition and TPLF. No matter how hard is to imagine the chemistry of this kind of union, Siye seems to work hard on it to make it acceptable thereby confusing the opposition more than TPLF.

Swedish journalists say terror trial was a ‘sham’

STOCKHOLM — Back home after being imprisoned in Ethiopia for more than a year, two Swedish journalists dismissed

their trial on terror charges as a “sham,” saying they accepted 11-year prison terms to improve their chances of being released.
Martin Schibbye and Johan Persson also said in a news conference Friday that their apology on Ethiopian TV in connection with their release last week was not sincere but “part of the process” of being freed.

The two were arrested in summer 2011 while trying to cross from Somalia into Ethiopia’s Ogaden region along with fighters from the separatist Ogaden National

Ethiopia: Automatically the chairperson will be the prime minister

ADDIS ABABA — Ethiopia’s ruling coalition will hold a two-day governing council meeting from Friday to choose a leader to succeed former prime minister Meles Zenawi, who died last month, it said.
“The council assigns the chairperson of the organisation that replaces our great leader, who departed from us suddenly,” said an online statement Thursday by the Ethiopian Peoples’ Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF).
During his 21 years in power, Meles was both EPRDF chairman and prime minister.
Government spokesman Bereket Simon told AFP that “automatically the chairperson will be the prime minister.”
