The Democratic Change in Ethiopia Support Organization Norway (DCESON) and the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Party (EPRP) Norway section held a remembrance demonstration on Sept 02,2012 at jernbanetorget for those massacred , killed , tortured, imprisoned and forced to immigrate by dictator Meles zenawi for the past 21 years of his tyranny in Ethiopia while his burial is taking place in Addis Ababa.
In fact most ethiopians are happy by the death of the dictator but we are suddened for his natural departure with out facing justice for the thousands of ethiopian who were murdered by his orders.
During the occasion there were invited guests, representatives of the two parties, the Ethiopian community ,ESAT journalist and others made a speech on remembering those Ethiopians massacred in 2003 at Gambella more than 400 ,massacred in Arbagugu, massacred in Addis ababa more than 200, political prisoners ,those journalists in prison ,those monks displaced from waldeba, those 17 muslim detainees, activists.
The speakers also explained how much the tyrant Meles regime spent enormous amount of money and time to implement their ethno-centric policy throughout Ethiopia, how they cheat the Ethiopian people about the 11% suedo-economic growth and the European donor countries, the invited gusts also concerned about Ethiopian soldiers who are diying in Somaliland for the benefit of the west. In fact in return the westerners donate around 4 billion us dollar in the name of development aid but the rigime spent the money for repressing the people of Ethiopia and the rest of the money go back to US and some European banks on teft. So that all of us with any place and time send our strong messages for the west tax payers to ask their respective governments on the use and monitoring of their aid money to Ethiopia.
Therefore,all of us should join hand in hand with all Ethiopian democratic organizations to discuss and decide about the post-meles era or the destiny of Ethiopia by rendering our support and effort to destroy the tyrant regime .
